Dr. Shani Nicole Robinson, CPA, is an accomplished executive leader, educator, and consultant who brings more than two decades of experience in business, higher education, and organizational leadership. She is the founder and principal consultant of Geneva Nicole Strategies, LLC (GNS), a professional development and consulting firm that helps leaders and organizations strengthen emotional intelligence, communication, and adaptability to drive meaningful growth.
As a certified emotional-intelligence practitioner (EQ-i 2.0 and EQ 360), Dr. Robinson combines research-based insights with authentic leadership to help individuals and teams lead with confidence, empathy, and impact. Through GNS, she partners with businesses, higher-education institutions, and public-sector organizations to design and deliver leadership development programs, workshops, executive coaching, keynote speaking, and panel moderation that align people and performance.
Dr. Robinson also serves as senior associate dean and professor of accounting in the College of Business Administration at Sam Houston State University, where she leads strategic initiatives and oversees programs focused on student success and workforce readiness. Drawing from her early career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and her extensive experience in academia, she serves as a bridge between education and industry—helping prepare the next generation of professionals while guiding organizations in cultivating emotionally intelligent, work-ready talent.
A published researcher in leading academic journals, Dr. Robinson has been recognized for her scholarship, mentorship, and leadership through numerous awards, including the Dedre P. Jefferson Humanitarian Award, The Keys of Excellence Award, and the NABA Accounting Achievement in Education Award. Across every role, she remains guided by her passion for helping people and organizations grow with purpose, integrity, and compassion.
